Sydney Cast as Gracie!

DFW Students Accepted Into Casa!
Congrats to Courtney Harris for her recent production of Little Red Riding Hood and also for being cast as Violet in the upcoming summer Casa production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Congrats also to Ian and Colin Ford for their audition into the Summer 2008 Casa Manana theatre camp!

Bailey Awarded Scholarship!!!
Congrats to DFW student, Bailey Mills for receiving a $1,000 non-music major scholarship to participate in the choir program at Westminster College! Bailey was the only singer in the region to receive this award!

Congrats to HOU student, Hillary Storey for being selected for a summer internship at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC! She will be working with a new director in constructing educational programs for area schools! Have a blast Hillary!

Top Honor/DFW NATS Winners!
Congrats to the Cosby Studio for their participation in the DFW NATS District Auditions this past weekend! Congrats to Rachel Roy who received the Anne Weeks Jackson Award for Most Outstanding Female for Musical Theatre. Rachel received the highest score of the night and received First Place for the Advanced Women’s Division, a $25 Gift Certificate from Penders and $100 in cash! Congrats to High School Musical Theatre Semi-Finalists, Emily Rew, Brittany Richardson and Carrie Schlupp. Congrats to High School Classical Semi-Finalist, Emily Rew. Also, congrats to those who participated in Prelims, Clinton Elledge, Caroline Reyes and Insang Ryu.

Tommy Tune Nomination for Meredith!
Congrats to HOU student, Meredith Tyler, for getting a Tommy Tune nomination for her roll as Dolly in Hello Dolly for the John Cooper School in The Woodlands. Meredith was also nominated last year for her rolle as Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie and also sang the lead, Peter Pan in Peter Pan the year before for John Cooper.
