Allison Marrow Gets Lead and SBV Students Follow!
Congrats to Allison Marrow for getting cast as the female lead for the FWCD Musical, Back To The 80’s, for February 2009!!! Also congrats to Caroline Reyes, Colin Ford, Clinton Elledge and Katherine Livingston for getting solo roles! Also congrats to Levi Bohannon for being named a featured soloist. Also congrats to Sydney Darrow, Caroline Rodriguez and Rachel Rosentstein for making chorus! Way to dominate gang!

Congrats to Katherine Livingston (9th Chair Alto II), Caroline Rodriguez (13th Chair Soprano II) and Levi Bohannon (22nd Chair Tenor II) for making the first round of TMEA All State Choir Auditions! Way to go!

Check the Executive Director in you area for Young Singers Voice Classes. Voice Classes are now offered for grades 1-3 and 4-6. There is also new availability for junior high private voice students.

Welcome to new DFW Associates, Instructor Kendra Kufeldt and Collaborative Pianist, Rebecca Lowrey! Also welcome to new HOU Instructors, Michele Witt and Giny Mendez! Look for them to be added to our Faculty page soon! We will miss our former DFW Associates, Jeong-Suk Bae, Shannon Talley and Lisa Screeton who all moved out of the Fort Worth area this past summer.

SBV Students in Casa’s Footloose!
Congrats to SBV DFW students who were in the summer youth Casa Manana production of Footloose! Ian Ford played Lyle, Colin Ford played Wes and Levi Bohanan played Travis. Anna Lee Hurst was in the adult ensemble and Jonathan Hardin and Caroline Reyes were in the teen ensemble. Great show gang!

Donna and Laurie Presenters at NATIONAL NATS!
Donna Hinds and Laurie Lee Cosby were presenters at the National NATS Conference in Nashville presenting the topic of The Collaborative Voice Studio. The presentation received favorable attention and Donna and Laurie have been invited to present chapters to be considered for a possible book. They also received some invites to submit several articles to varying publications. The Collaborative Studio philosophy of SBV works!
